2-6-26 THOUGHTS
Some thoughts this morning concerning our behavior as we fellowship in the blood bought Church. The words “one another” are significant here and throughout the New Testament. A quick search shows 39 entries of these words. Peace and goodness and love is to abound in the community of believers. Please note the “always” behavior at the end.
1Thes 5:11-15 Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing. 12 But we request of you, brethren, that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you, and have charge over you in the Lord and give you instruction, 13 and that you esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Live in peace with one another. 14 We urge you, brethren, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people.
Our Prayer:
Father God, please help us to be the Church that You envisioned as You designed it and Jesus bled for it. Help us go beyond “showing up” and get into encouraging and building up! May we learn each other, and the joy of consistent quality fellowship and love. Help us to spend our lives for the cause of Your WAY. Help us to be Your saints on the march. In the name of our Savior, Amen.
